Completing the Ju 87 Air Wing, Installing the Rudder and Adding AA Guns

The Ju 87 dive bombers are completed, the first Me 109T joins the air wing, the rudder is installed, and the first LED-equipped 3.7 cm anti-aircraft guns are mounted on both sides of the ship.

Step 71/140: Final Ju 87s and Rudder Mechanism

This step completes the assembly of the Ju 87 dive bombers, bringing the total to 13 aircraft ready for installation.

In addition, the rudder servo and its associated mechanical components have been assembled. These will be installed and connected in the next step.

Step 72/140: The First Me 109T and the Rudder

Another aircraft joins the collection, this time the first Messerschmitt Me 109T. Assembly is a little easier than with the previous aircraft, as there are no tiny bombs to attach.

The rudder assembly from the previous step is now installed in the hull and connected to the steering mechanism. Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to test whether everything works as intended.

Step 73/140: 3,7 cm AA Guns

This step introduces the first of the 3,7 cm anti-aircraft guns. Two of these guns are mounted on the port side of the ship, near the stern.

Each gun is equipped with an LED that simulates a firing effect when activated. The LEDs can be tested using the test board supplied with the first installment of the model.

Step 74/140: More 3,7 cm AA Guns

After installing the 3,7 cm guns on the port side in the previous step, I have now added the same guns to the starboard side. The process was exactly the same, and the LEDs were tested once again to ensure everything was working properly.
