The Einheitsdiesel was a standardized truck developed for the German Wehrmacht during World War II. It was a three-axle, all-wheel drive truck with a 2.5-ton payload. The engine was a joint development by MAN, Henschel, and Humboldt-Deutz, while the chassis design was primarily from Henschel.
Production ran from 1937 to 1940, and over 12,000 units were built. The Einheitsdiesel was used as a platform for a variety of different bodies, including truck beds, field kitchens, and communications vehicles.
This 1/72 scale MAC model of a German Einheitsdiesel was build OOB and painted with Revell Aqua.
