Soviet Air Force MiG 9
The MiG-9 was the first jet fighter designed by Mikoyan-Gurevich after World War II. It had engine problems and wasn't very successful, but over 600 were built. They were used by the Soviet Union and China until the MiG-15 came along. There are only 3 MiG-9s left in the world today.
A MiG-9, the model is a 1/72 MPM short-run kit. Quality of the kit was not so good, especially the tail of the plane was completely asymmetrical.
Therefore, I used it as a test-bed to try some techniques to make the plane look "used".
Sadly i put not enough weight to the nose, so I had to build a small "support" at the tail ....
