The Canadair Sabre was a jet fighter built by Canada based on the US F-86 Sabre. It saw service with the Canadian Air Force and several other countries. There were two main versions: the Mk. 2/4 similar to the US design, and the Mk. 5/6 with larger wings and a more powerful Canadian engine.

The Sabre served in combat as late as 1980 with Pakistan, and in other roles into the 1970s. Notably, a Canadair Sabre variant was used by a female pilot to become the first woman to break the sound barrier. Many Sabres are now on display in museums.
