The Mercedes-Benz L3000 was a 4x2 3-tonne rear axle drive truck used by Nazi Germany in World War II. Powered by a Daimler-Benz 4-cylinder diesel engine, it was used alongside the Opel Blitz and proved more reliable in rough terrain. It was used in all fronts and extensively by the Afrika Korps. Manufactured in three versions from 1938 to 1944, over 27,700 L3000 type trucks were built, making it the most produced Mercedes-Benz truck of World War II.
This 1/144 scale model of a Mercedes L 3000 was a test for using some settings for the 3D printer.
Small models like this are much better printed with a Resing printer, but I found some settings for a FDM printer to make "resin like" prints. Well, not really, but the result was better than using the usual settings I normally use on this printer.
Printed with PLA on an Anycubic Vyper, painted with Revell Aqua.
