The Junkers G.24 was a significant German passenger plane from the 1920s. Renowned for its all-metal construction and reliability, it played a crucial role in establishing commercial air travel in Europe.
As a development of the successful Junkers F.13, the G.24 featured three engines, offering safety and efficiency. It could accommodate up to nine passengers and two crew members in a comfortable cabin.
Operated by airlines like Lufthansa, the G.24 served both domestic and international routes, contributing to the growth of global air travel.
This is a quite simple Plasticart kit of a Junkers G-24 in 1//72. VEB Plasticart produced scale models in the former GDR. After German Unification some if their kits were re-published by other manufactureres like Revell. However, some of the kits are now still produced under the name "reifra".
The model was build OOB and painted with Revell Aqua.
