Something I wanted to build for quite some time, a F-4 Phantom, II in 1980s Luftwaffe colors.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was a highly successful American supersonic jet fighter jet. Originally designed for the Navy, it became a mainstay for the Air Force and Marines as well. Holding the record for most-produced American supersonic military aircraft, over 5,100 were built between 1958 and 1981.
The F-4 was a powerful and versatile aircraft, known for its speed (over Mach 2.2) and ability to carry a large amount of weaponry (over 18,000 pounds). It played a major role in the Vietnam War as a fighter, bomber, and reconnaissance aircraft. The F-4 remained in service with the US until 1996 and continues to see action with other air forces around the world.
This is an old Revell 1/72 scale kit build OOB.
