The USS Arizona was a US battleship built in the 1910s. After serving in World War I and representing US interests abroad, it joined the Pacific Fleet in the 1920s. Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, the Arizona participated in training exercises and provided aid during a California earthquake. In 1940, it was moved to Pearl Harbor to deter Japanese aggression. During the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941, the Arizona was sunk by Japanese bombs and never returned to service. The wreckage remains in Pearl Harbor with a memorial built on top honoring those lost in the attack.
This is a 1/700 scale HobbyBoss model which was quite cheap to get (less than 7€).
Updated with PE railings (which did not work very well, have to return to the Eduard ones), PE crew and EZ-Line.
Especially the crew and antennas took quite some time to complete while the base model was done almost a month before.
