Haguro was a Japanese heavy cruiser that served in World War II. It participated in numerous battles, including the Battle of the Java Sea where it played a crucial role in sinking several Allied ships. Haguro also saw action in the Battles of the Coral Sea, Midway, and Leyte Gulf. Despite surviving multiple attacks, it was ultimately sunk by British destroyers in the Malacca Strait in 1945.
