USS Massachusetts was a South Dakota-class battleship built for the US Navy. Despite being designed after the Washington Treaty, it had to adhere to a strict displacement limit, leading to a cramped design.
The ship participated in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters during World War II. In the Atlantic, it engaged in a duel with a French battleship, neutralizing it. In the Pacific, it primarily served as an escort for aircraft carriers.
After the war, Massachusetts was decommissioned and later preserved as a museum ship in Fall River, Massachusetts.
This one is a Revell 1/720 USS Massachusetts. model build OOB, to have the 1950/60s look&feel of scale models. The only addition are a few PE crew members, but not a lot as I am running out of stock
As the aircraft crane was missing, I had to 3D print a replacement of it.
The model was build as it looked in WW2.
