SMS Kronprinz was a German dreadnought battleship that served during World War I. It was part of the König class and was named after the Crown Prince of Germany. The ship participated in several major naval battles, including the Battle of Jutland. It was torpedoed in 1916 but was repaired and continued to serve.
After Germany's defeat, the ship was interned by the British and was scuttled by its own crew in 1919 to prevent it from falling into British hands. The wreck remains at the bottom of Scapa Flow.
One of the more rare models, a German WW1 Battleship, the Kronprinz. Scuttled in Scapa Flow in 1919, the wrecks still rests there today.
This is the 1/700 scale model of the Kronprinz by ICM. Build OOB and painted with Revell Aqua Color. A model kit with many very small parts, so in some parts it was a bit tricky to build. Overall quality is quite good.
