S211 was a German fast attack boat built during World War II. It belonged to the Schnellboot 1939/1940 class, the largest of its kind in Germany at the time. Commissioned in 1944, S211 was one of the later boats in the class and benefitted from wartime experience by having stronger anti-aircraft defenses.
After the war, S211 ended up in the Soviet Navy. Renamed multiple times throughout its service, it went from a torpedo boat to a motor launch and finally a despatch boat before being decommissioned in 1954.
A little German S-Boot (or E-boat as called in English) of Hellers 1/400 Kriegsmarine set.
This set contains 12 of those little S-boats, a Type VII sub, two Minehunters 1935, a Flottentorpedoboot 1939 and a Destroyer type 1936Mob. So a lot to build.
